I recently bought a set of ITR shocks with brand ew LCA's. i havent installed them yet and was wondering what you guys thought of them? should i bother or get Koni's? probably the yellow's. Any thoughts??
I myself would've gotten the ITR rear LCAs and that's it. You might as well get the Koni Yellows now if it even crosses your mind. Believe me...they're definitely worth it.
Better yet, you can use ITR-specific coilovers.

yes it is worth it.
Konis are pricey in comparison (yeah they kick more *** I know) so that is why I went with ITR shocks/struts.
if you want to sell the ITR's you just got and the LCA's let me know, I will put them on my EG.

Im currently using Itr shocks and they are much stiffer than the tokico blues and some other shocks I've experienced in the past. Its a good alternative route if you want to have something to save up for.
the koni's are the ****... you wanna ride hard and aggressive, twist 'em to firm... got your girl in the car, twist it to soft... how can you say no to this?

I have never seen stiffness rates for shocks like those we would find for springs, because shocks work differently.. what you may be looking for is a shock dyno graph which someone posted for konis the other day...though they were revalved i believe.
im pretty sure ive seen the rates posted somewhere

What about Tokico Illumina's (5 way adjustable), My stock struts just arnt holing up to my new Ground Control Coil Overs. I can get the Tokico's for $93.95 a strut. I also like how they adjust (with clicks, not friction). Does anyone hear ride on that combo?
i upgraded my shocks from stock (with the ground control coilovers) to koni's... the ground control didn't fit the koni's bc they aren't the same size. i'd look into that aspect of things before you get in a jam like i did. good luck
ps- i LOVE my koni yellows
