Is anyone entering the Turkey Bowl on Nov 8?
I may, but am strongly leaning towards putting the car to bed early for the winter. Me thinks the ECHC race the week before will probably be the last of the year for #72.
I am looking for seat at the EMRA if anybody wants to run their car.

i usually do the turkey bowl; last times were in my super seven on the vintage side of things; she's a broke right now, so i was toying with the idea of running the Probenstien one last time this season....
if i can find someone to look after my six year old, cause wife will be away in NYC that weekend!!!!
Turkey bowl is always fun; plus a neat display of some old machinery racing, too.

Hey Todd,
I didn't see any restrictions on what types of vechiles were allowed. I was going to enter a 92 SIR II in small bore. Would this be looked down upon? I just want to take on the Ferrari's. What's you take on this? My initial opinion thinks it's a bad idea.

hi again.
there are basically NO restrictions on the vehicles allowed, except that they must have logbooks and be safe, etc.
i think that they will consider you a "big bore" car, though, due to the state of prep and the expected laptimes you will turn. your car should turn ITS or better laptimes, and those are "big bore" cars to the Turkey Bowl organizers. "small bore" cars to them are ITC, ITA, ITB, Spec Miata, Spec RX-7, etc.
at least, that is how I remember them doing it. the last couple of times, i was on the vintage side of things, so i wasn't paying strictly close attention to the other groups' classing systems....
hope to see you there; If i attend, I'll be classed in ITS in the Probenstien, so that is big bore! I'll get my *** whupped, but will have a ton of fun anyway...
