for pistons and rod's you'll use standard d series components. For valve springs, etc you'd need to spend a grip & get B18A/B items installed. Exospeed can hook you up w/ reground cams, most other items will be d series stuff.

http://www.dh-racing.com They do the headwork to use an LS valvetrain in a ZC. It will cost you, but I think it's worth it if you have high goals for your ZC.

Thanks peeps,

Is the zc pistons the same as your sohc d-series pistons?

So i should be able to get rods, pistons, rings etc from places like raceeng.com?

That power service imazu i have heard off, hmmmmmm....see if i can get my japanese contact to find info out on their products?!

Thanks for the link to dh racing

Does the ls/b18a fit straight into a zc engine?

I would like to build up the zc motor i have in my jdm si, and then turbocharge it.
I've seen some of your sohc d series engines running 350-400hp, and i would like to get near that sort of figures!

Thanks for the help lads!!

Dan!!

p.s. sorry for all my basic questions, trying to research as much as poss before i go ahead with this

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Dont do that stupid ******* LS valve train conversion! Its a waist of ******* money mang! Go to http://www.theoldone.com Larry Widmer has valves, pistons of all compression ratio's and rods. You can aquire valve springs and retainers for the zc from any EF-1 dealer.
The ls conversion seriously ***** the motor since the LS head has completly different geomitry.
If you plan on revving to the moon use the EF-1 springs and some shims.

well i was reading the hyper rev magazine and i remember that PSI has a TON of ZC parts

high compression pistons
cams
cam gears
valve train components
individual throttle bodies
and more

i think they even have a stroker kit for it, and if he could find it mugen used to make an intake manifold for it, they also used to make a turbo kit for the ZC......
