quick question where does the s2000 top out at do any of u know thanks

 

it keeps going and going and going just like never ending punctuation which never seems to stop and goes and goes and goes

claims vary, and all differ, depending on the situation. it will do 156 no problem with the top up. some claims a bit higher than that but nothing lower. I've seen an SC'ed top down hit 156, but it was SC'ed.

 

Going downhill in a vacuum it wouldn't stop

 

According to Car and Driver the S goes 147 MPH.

Personally, I've done 120 with mine... but I have no desire to find out how fast my S goes on public roads. They aren't made for those type of speeds.

I don't believe it is limited in any way, only by gearing and drag.

I have personally gotten it past 150mph indicated.

 

the s2k can theoritically go up 158-160 mph by gearing, but at these speeds the s2k has too much drag.

 

unless you're goind downhill, there was a vid going around like a yr ago

 

With stock wheels and gearing redline in sixth gear is 167mph.

 

On the way to Vegas my S hit 162 indicated (155+ actual), with top down. It was surprisingly all too easy (it was nice and cold that night) and I could have gone more if not for cars coming up + my self-preservation instincts kickin in!
