Since I've moved here, I've seen a number of R's just driving around. There's a PY parked around Tropicanna Gardens. Anyone's? I've also seen a black R that pulled into the parking lot near Cambell Hall dropping off someone. Another day, was a CW one at the local Albertsons.

 

i live in SB as well and know of at least 4 right now
there was 2 others last year but they moved away one was my roomates.
you'll find that there are a few of them around.
the funniest one is a white one owned by this old lady that just drives it around like it was a normal integra. man whoever buys that one is gonna be stocked

 

I am from sb and 4 of my friends have r's in town. They are all over the place. I would love to meet more of you that live around here.

just to help out the cali thieves make a living, care to share plate numbers, or vin numbers?

you've essentially done the shopping for the thieves. all they need to do now is pick them up.

Just becuase there are R's in the Santa Barbara area doesn't mean that theives are going to know where to go to get them. Being an previous SB R owner, I know where everyone who owns them lives and I will help the theives out by telling them not to bother looking. Unless you can find one un-manned in IV you aren't going to find the others. SB is a big place. I am interested in knowing who the PY owners are though. 3 of the R's are gone from last year, James, Andrew, and myself all moved. I think of our group of 4 R's only Wayne is left.

There are quite a few R's around SB. I'm seen a few w/ JDM fronts around, most of the ones I see are stock though. The middle aged lady you guys are talking about...she drives a CW right? if so I've seen her a few times.

Yeah man, you seriously need to check in more often. James and I are trying to get the SB crew together for the ITR expo caravan. Don't even tell me that you aren't down for that, becuase that won't be cool at all. We totally all need to roll and get fucked up together in ARZ. Plus it is a good excuse for Vince to drive the car that he spends all his money on yet never drives.

Thinking of rolling up there next week, anything going on on tue and wed Vince? Misha?

I was just in SB this past weekend visiting a girl friend.

She gave me the face when we were kinda drunk walking down DP and I stopped to check out a 97 CW ITR (I think I saw the same one later that weekend at Ralph's). She said "all these drunk college girls walking around you and you stop to check out a car!" LOL.

for who ever's ITR that was.

 

Huh...I don't know who's that was. The only white ITR's that I knew of were the old lady's, Andrews, and Waynes. I know that wayne and andrew aren't even in SB anymore, and I dont know why the old lady's could be on DP...so who knows.

yeah theres a new white one ive seen around s.b. its a 97' pretty odd but its around here. theres a bunch of blacks including mine and ONE YELLOW in all of s.b. pretty sad..but just shows you how rare these dam cars are.

i just think the wing thing is funny. they look great dont get me wrong. its just that after driving a few type-r's that i dont like that wing at all. its just at the exact wrong spot for rear view but thats just my opinion.

Hey what up SB ITR owners!

Im a UCSC student and this is my first time on this forum. I just wanted to ask you guys if you knew any ITRs (97-01) for sale in SB since I pass it all the time on my way back home to LA. If you do how much do they go for? I wouldn't mind offering the lady who owns the white ITR if the car is clean and stock if any of you know her. Any help would be appreciated.
