prepping bumper already painted
Alright guys I don't usually reply much on these forums but just read other people's questions and suggestions, but I've a favor to ask. What's the best way to take stock oem paint off of a bumper and then prepping it. I'm a poor freshman in college and I'm on a budget so I'm going to have Maaco paint it. Before they spray it down I want to get it prepped the best I can so the paint will at least look good and stay on for 3-4 years without chipping (hopefully. lol). Any help would be appreciated.
wet sand paper, and primer... You basically have to sand the paint off, use fine sandpaper, and make sure not to scratch too deep,
light rubbing + patience = Primer Orgasm
LOL
Sorry I am no pro, but thats the way me and my friend did his 69 mustang... And it came out good
