what would it's takes. to out run 450hp wheels rwd. camaro,stang,firebird or any rwd cars. with 88 civic hatchback. what hp do i need. i'm already swap to Bseries motor. how much do i need.

p.s this guy that i know, he keep bashing honda guys or any 4banger car.
he drive camaro, he thinks he's all that fast and some people said he is.

u need to do some serious research. first of all, camaros are quite fast. secondly, it is gonna take a lot of money and effort to take those gas guzzlin domestics. but it feels hella good when you do.

it also depends on if you wanna go all motor or turbo. nitrous or no nitrous. all motor, id say go with a fully built b20/vtec (crv bottom block with either b16 or ITR head). turbo, id say go boost a built d16y8 (96-00 civic ex).

then again, if you're broke like me, just be happy with your gas-efficient 4banger.

 

money is no problem, i just need to know how much hp. do i need, and able to drive it every day. all motor if possible, or turbo. please let me know thanks.

 

well first off, camero's aren't fast..! and secondly i think u'd need about 250 whp, to beat almost any v8 consistainly. My friend is running 12s with a built h22a with a 50 shot of nitrous in an accord (2600lbs).. i'd say in a HB you could easily beat any v8 stock, with a h22a in a HB, h22a put out 200HP, but then they also have 150ft/lbs of torque.. so really there is all kinds of things u should do
