What image hosting service does everyone use? I'm picky.
I'm trying to set up my thread for my car for sale, but I can't find a GOOD place to host my images. I'm picky and do not want to resize or lose quality. I was using WTDR for the longest time, but now the pics seem to get grainy when uploaded. The same seems to be true for CarDomain. I've just tried villagephotos.com, picturetrail.com, imagestation.com, and ofoto.com, but they all resize the pics to approx 450x330. If anyone has some suggestions please let me know.
Thanks,
G

That's not a bad idea. I think http://www.villagephotos.com is going to work out. I went over their daily 5.00mb limit and my photo access got locked. They don't resize as long as the pics are under 120k and no quality is lost when the image is uploaded.
Since it's appearance/cosmetic here's a pic from picturetrail.com. The pic is supposed to be 710x___, but picturetrail.com has it scaled down to 480x___.
Thanks for the help,
G

actually geocities prevents hotlinking for obvious reasons... why doesn't WTDR work for you? it doesn't seem to resample my pictures...

I actually like the layout of WTDR better than anything I've used, but I'm just seeing what else is out there.

I've never had any problems with WTDR either. It's just since they did the big change over I noticed just the slightest decrease in the picture clarity after it's uploaded. Example: I just uploaded a pic that was 95K (720x540) on my hard drive. After the upload the same 720x540 picture was 89K. Maybe I'm just being to picky, but it's something that I noticed.
