Anyone know if Acura wheel locks are the same weight as the lug nuts?
someone brought this issue up in a past post and i'm wondering if it even matters all that much in terms of wheels balancing. it was mentioned that a perfectly balanced wheel may become "unbalanced" while on the hub due to the extra weight of the wheel lock. my guess is that it's negligible due to the fact that the extra weight is so close to the center of the wheel.
also,
anyone know if Acura and Honda lugs are the same part?
also,
are ITR wheels high theft items? obviously the whole car is, just wondering if lots of wheels alone have been jacked, and if i should invest in some wheel locks
thanks!! (and sorry for the multiple questions.)

I believe the "lock"-nut is the same weight as the stock lugnuts. I've never the wheels vibrate because I was using the lock. It's worth $40 or whatever they are for a peace of mind... but can be defeated so easily.
ITR wheels would get jacked, but if that's the only things the thieves jack, then you lucked out.
