Swap the two white wires at the distributor and it might start up.

Did that on my recent MPFI swap and the car started right up!

Two ideas from me:

1. Why did they do that? Two white wires going to the same component with different functions. ARRGH

2. This is the golden rule with no starts: Check battery and starting system first. Then find the problem in one of these three areas: AIR/FUEL/SPARK.

It is difficult to elaborate on this idea because of the different induction systems and "digital" and distributor ignitions.

Air- Intake of motor, the vacuum produced by the engine assembly rotating, basically if vacuum is good and the intake is not clogged go to spark or fuel.

Fuel - Fuel pressure, injector performance and control (I believe one of those white wires are for the crank position sensor), return line free flowing back to tank.

Spark- Whitish/bluish spark = good coil and control system, ignition timing, tune-up components.

Control homey not pressure.

check your injector, make sure you got fuel out of injector, or spray starting fluid inside throttle body and crank it. if it crank it means injector is bad.

heres the code for ecu go check your code.

Code 0 _____ Faulty ECU
Code 1 _____ Oxygen content
Code 2 _____ Does not appear to exist
Code 3 _____ MAP sensor
Code 4 _____ Crank angle sensor
Code 5 _____ MAP sensor again
Code 6 _____ Coolant temperature
Code 7 _____ Throttle angle
Code 8 _____ Top dead center sensor
Code 9 _____ No. 1 cylinder position (only on 1.6L)
Code 10 ____ Intake air temperature
Code 11 ____ Does not appear to exist
Code 12 ____ Exhaust gas recirculation system
Code 13 ____ Atmosphric Pressure
Code 14 ____ Electronic air control (EACV)
Code 15 ____ Ignition output signal
Code 16 ____ Fuel injector
Code 17 ____ Vehicle speed sensor
Code 18 ____ Does not appear to exist
Code 19 ____ Lock up control solenoid (auto trans only)
Code 20 ____ Electric load

Inside car @ ECU

Pins B10 and B12 are empty. Unused pins can be taken from B2 or B11. Some models have a wire located at B12.

Cut orange and white wires off at C1 and C2 and connect them to wires added at B10 and B12. Orange-B10. White-B12. Leave enough wire for next step.

Run wires from C1 and C2 (direct ECU connection) into the engine compartment. Label these wires for later use.

Cut wires at A3 and A7 leaving plenty of wire. Run these wires into the engine compartment and label them for later use.

Before installing manifold

TPS and EACV plugs are too short and must be extended.

Injectors and injector resistor box

Connect the yellow/black wires from the two DX injector harnesses and run it to the yellow/black wire on the injector resistor box.

Connect the yellow wire from the DX injector to the #1 injector (brown wire).

Connect the red wire from the DX injector and run it to the #3 injector (blue wire).

Connect the A3 wire to the #2 injector (red wire).

Connect the A7 wire to the #4 injector (yellow wire).

Connect the 4 red/black wires from injector resistor box to each injector.

Cylinder position sensor

Connect C1 to blue/green wire on cylinder position sensor plug.

Connect C2 to blue/yellow wire on cylinder position sensor plug.

These wires are off the si distributor so connect them there.

Double check everything and start it up. have fun.

Make sure your injector resistor box is getting power to it,that was my problem. It's easy to make a mistake if you're tired and excited. It's a good idea to take a break from it then go back over everything, you'd be suprised at what you find sometimes!
