with all this motor swap **** goin around it looks like there's no love for the d-series anymore... that's too bad.. people just don't know..

you can check here for some stuff.. http://hybrid.honda-perf.org/links/

and you can always go here for great info. http://www.theoldone.com .. there's some great writeups in the articles section, including one on porting a d16 head. check through the bbs too.. just search for random d-series **** and you should find tons of info.. enough to make your head explode!

No kidding. Seems like a good bit of hate mail gets posted anytime someone has a question about them. Somehow this thread avoided scrutiny. ;-) The "hybrid horse" has been whipped to bloody pulp, so I thought I'd pursue something a little different.

At this point, I'm just doing some research. I think there is some un-tapped potential in the D series motor, and T.O.O. seems to think so "too". At this point, the biggest obstacle I can see is the tranny. The fact that there aren't nearly as many gearing options without going custom...

I LOVE YOU MAN. Another person who loves the D series the way I do. hehe I am in the process of building my D series right now. I am just planning on using the Si tranny for my turbo setup
