getting the emblems shaved
what exactly is entailed with getting the emblems shaved on your car? I have a 2001 gsr and i would like to get all the emblems shaved of for the clean look. How much is it and what exactly do they do? Thanks!

All they do is bondo over ther holes that the emblems are in, and spray it to match your car, should be able to get it done for $100-150 bucks.

always check work of a body show when looking into them shaving things, welding is the right way but done wrong can screw it up, welding=heat=warping metal, but if all your shaving it the wholes it shouldnt be that bad. make sure with their work that you cant see the outline after its done
i JUST talked to a professional painter and body work guy and he said the back is easy just weld but the front is iffy. he said that since its plastic, about 6 months later you will see a faint impression where the holes were because it sinks in from the body flexing etc. but its not really noticable so thats ok i guess. i work with him and he is giving me a deal and said 80 bucks for the labor + whatever the supplies cost. so find a place with cheap labor and you will be getting it done for around 170 bucks
