Default been done before, but best and most quiet muffler (only)

yo

I know this has been asked before, but I can never seem to get a good clear answer on what is the best price, most quiet muffler. Im really drawn to the cheaper Apex or apex style ebay mufflers, due to the fact that they have a silencer. Does it make a good difference? i've got a gutted cat and 2.25" piping with a brospeed muffler that is driving me crazy. Can anyone reccomend something else?

A buddy of mine has his old rsx-s muffler, do you think that would fit on my eg hatch?

I have the Mugen twin-loop muffler with a RS*R b-pipe & resonator. Very quiet exhaust setup

Well, for a great, quiet muffler I love the twin-loop. But you said "cheap", which the twin-loop definitely isn't....

you get what you pay for. if you go out and get an ebay muffler it'll sound like sh*t for sure. Get a ES Universal Oval Muffler with custom 2.25" piping. Should cost around +/- $250
