Sad Day for Me
Well in about 10 minutes the new owner of #0147 will be picking her up. It is a sad day in my book but i am on to bigger and better things in life. I loved this car so much and hate to see it go. I am sure I will go through VTEC withdrawal
I'd like to thank everyone for helping me out with my problems/concerns over the past 2 years on this web board. I will still float around on here some but not near as much as before.
Let's welcome a new member to the Type R family (his name is also Mike). I will link him to this thread (he is already a member of honda-tech and has been for some time).

havne't bought the Tahoe just yet but am looking for one. i won't regret the decision. i am already happy that the car has sold (sure i will miss it in some respects). now i don't have to worry about theft issues, ricers giving me looks day in and day out, and the bullshit that goes along with owning a Type R i.e. HEY MAN IS THAT A REAL TYPE R??!!

I'd like to also turn the attention in this thread toward greeting and congratulating the new owner of my previously owned Type R. He will chime in most likely tonight some time. He is pretty excited about the car.

Hey there Mike, sorry you had to sell it, but we'll make sure that the new owner(also one of my friends named Mike) takes care of your car. We'll even try to get him to bring it to Sebring for some lap days(and maybe then you can give it a thrashing as well). Speaking of Sebring, we had a good time there this past Sat, I'll be driving at the one in January, the hatch is almost done. Later Mikey, Clay

Mike Congrats on the buy!
Mike M - We know each other because of our R's. I know the feeling of letting it go, but I can also tell you that it is a release too. We both know the consuming nature this car has on many of us, and we both made the choice to better ourselves in the long run. Congratulations to you for that! Get done with school and figure out if you're gonna work for you dad or blaze your own path. There will always be cars and track events to go to!

I used them for 1.5 days. Tires are.... totally burnt and dead!!
Definitely worth it though. I was very happy with the tires.
