Trannys from other D-series. As long as they are hydro (or cable, whatever matches your set up) Rick

depends on what year set up you have, for d series you could get a hydro tranny from 92+ and 91 and under you could get a cable, for cable i have the d16a6 tranny of the si civic/crx if you got hydro go with a d16z6 tranny off of a ex (92-95) or a d16y8 tranny from a 96+ ex
ALL OF THE ABOVE WILL FIT, ANYTHING D WILL

i probley screwed something up but figure out what tranny you got and go from there the three trannys i listed are short geared trannys

Also want to know bout this, i got an ex tranny(or so i was told when i got the car) but i heard there is a difference between ex coupe n sedan..the gears are the same but final drive on a ex sedan was same as dx final drive....either way i hate the tranny 3rd is too long/slow, somethings not right..what other trannies are there...del sol sohc lsd?? know anything bout it or others

EX coupe and sedan have the same gearing. It is possible that some of the sedans got the del slo .750 5th instead of .702 5th gear.
