Didn't you check the crank BEFORE you put the new bearing in, a bad journal is usually very easy to see. And to be fair, that problem could happen to any engine importer. THe difference is how they stand behind their sale during the always short warranty period.

Hey bro, these fell out of your post: ! , ; . " '. . , ,. .

Oh and by the way it's VTEC not V-Tec, also spell check is your friend. But now that we covered that, damn that sucks what happened to you if I read it correctly, better luck next time bro.

Call them. They'd prolly replace it. Even though it was your fault.

hmotorsonline was really good to me when i bought my EF8 front end.. they hooked me up with parts that didn't actually come with the kit (hood latches and hood hinges).. i've never ordered an engine from them, so i dont know how they would handle that, but they bent over backwards to help me out.. i would give em a call and see whats up

its kinda wrong to put down a very well established company just because your having problems. for your 1 problem there are hundreds of good reports, and for you to write up a topic like this is just dumb. "HI EVERYONE SHOULD READ THIS!!!! IF PLANING ON DOING A SWAP"

i thought i was actually going to learn something and then you just say nothing of any importance. importing a motor is dangerous. you never know what your going to get. use the dam warranty to your advantage and get another block. if they don't let you use the warrenty then post up something like this topic, BUT don't name it something like "HI EVERYONE SHOULD READ THIS!!!! IF PLANING ON DOING A SWAP" name it something like "Having problems with Hmotorsonline". and take you dam caps off. this is not important there is no need for caps unless your YELLING!

ok... it does suck that your going through this... hope everything works out for you.

yeah and your pictures don't work...

yes I see nothing reffering to bearing sizes matching or micink the crank to see if its round or damaged.

i just got my motor from them friday, hopefully ill have it running this week. they get a in my book, one of the sensors was broken but they sent a new one for me to replace it with. i know a lot of other companies will not go that far and offer a warranty for a used motor.

Going around trying to ruin a legitimate business's reputation when it was your dumb *** taking parts out and messing things up.

HMOTORSONLINE is a great place to get your motor. They are very courteous and will fix any problem that is within their warranty. I wish I would have bought my motor from them. I recommended them to a friend and his engine runs awesome and is so clean you could eat off of it.

Me on the other hand... I bought mine from a place called RACEUP.COM... I have been throwing codes since the very beginning which was in Feb. They refused to honor their start-up warranty. So therefore on top of the $2500 I spent on the engine I spent another $2000 getting it running right. Now that is a legitimate complaint!!!

Sorry to hijack thread and go on a rant but I can't believe you are complaining when it was your fault. It is not right to say that about a company that stands behind everything they sell as long as it is wihtin their control.

this guy is just mad becauce he messed up his motor and is trying to take it out on steve. i wouldnt even give him a warranty becauce he swap the bearings. i got my motor from steve, and the only problem i had was shipping was slow, NOT STEVES FAULT.. a big thumps up to steve and hmotors. PS motor swap is great no problems

I agree all the way Hmotorsonline is awesome. I had a bad knock sensor, and they just shipped me a new one. Great guys.. I don't think this guy even deserves a motor from them.

its about as beneficial as your post it seems. I think the other guys covered the idiocy in the post, so please sit back down.

My motor from hmo has been great, never had a problem and a friend of mine has done good business with steve. For a busy guy, he still manages to pull off good customer service.

I will have to agree with the earlier posts. For one thing if your going to bash a company dont put a link to their website in your post Oh yeah, YOU SUCK, I thought I was going to actually learn something. It seems like you were a little hasty in pointing fingers. **** HAPPENS, its what you do with the **** that counts!

Anyone wanna talk about interesting things like spec's and customizing ****?

Kasper and 90HFCRX -
you guys are both schmoes. We've already covered 90HFCRX's problems, he didn't know what he was doing then tries to blame it on a legitimate business. But Kasper, I'm almost willing to bet the same on you. First off, what codes are you throwing? Could they be attributed to the install possibly? Most engine importers offer a start-up warranty if the engine is "installed correctly by a professional". Now, I may be out of line here and I'm really not trying to start ****, but if you are throwing codes left and right, I would look at the install first. What did you have to spend $2000 on to get it running right? Was it a bad bearing? Broken sensor? If it was something internally with the engine, my bad. You are justified with that. But, if you had to take your car to a reputable shop who then charged you $2000 to fix your fucked up install job to take care of the codes, then quit blaming the engine supplier. Just my .02 Hope everything works out for you guys.
