Default HELP! Im a noob! (brakes)

Hi, Im a noob when it comes to brakes. Someone enlighten me. I come the the R forum for the smarter people, so dont dissapoint me

Anyhow, my brakes are acting funny. When I come to a stop, SOMETIMES the pedal will just sink to the floor.

Sometimes it will act normal, even though the pedal is always kind of squishy. This happens randomly.

I have just bleed the brakes, and I dont know what steps to take now. The pads are not squeeking either. I dont notice a loss in fluid.

What are signs that my master cylinder is going bad?

THANKS!

Sounds like the master cylinder to me. A gradually sinking pedal is a typical symptom of that.

I did. Looked exactly like the one it was replacing, and cost $60-ish instead of $200-ish. This was done recently, so no idea of the longevity at this point.

most likely its the master cylinder. if it was air bubbles, it would just feel very squishy. im like 90% sure its the master cylinder.
