Default swap cleaning

Hey i just got a ls motor and im curious on what i should do to it, while its sitting in my garage... um it has no trans yet, but it seems a bit dirty to say the least... what kind of cleanin solutions or anything should i do while its still sitting on my floor

it was easier for me to clean it after it was installed. but simple green worked pretty well for me.
