Cam shafts???
I have a 94 GSR with a cold air intake, 4-1 header, cat back exhaust, adjustable cam gears(tuned on dyno), ignition wires, and spark plugs. I was planning on getting some JDM ITR cam shafts for my teg cuz I want something that'll give me some good power. I know that Toda, Crower, Mugen, Spoon all make good cam shafts but many of these cam shafts require new retainers and what not. So I have three questions. 1)By getting new cam shafts will I have to get new retainers with any brand I may buy? 2)What kind of power gains can I expect from getting new cam shafts? 3) Do you know any good sites that might have a reasonable or good price on cam shafts for my teg? Thanks
Hey man i got Itr cams and all you will need is a valve adjustment, i have stock retainers. i got them for about 400 for both from a friend. As 4 the hp gain i felt a good amount, my vtec kicks in alot harder now n so far i love my cams. If yah still looking reply back.

so as long as you don't go over the redline, stock gsr internals can hold up those aftermarket cams?? if it is, wow, i didn't know that. here is the
for being a good replier.
