SRS Light Question
Hello everyone...
I was hard wiring my radar detector into the fuse box the other night and tied it into the SRS fuse. Naturally, the indicator light came on. But I removed the radar detector wire, put the fuse back in, and the light stayed on. It is still on now, three days later. Any ideas on what I should do? Is there a way to reset the indicator light or is that not a relatively safe thing to do?
I have a 99 base Prelude by the way.
Thanks in advance...

I had the same problem when i got my alarm installed. It was installed by a guy who installs alarms every day. After he installed it the SRS light would stay on all the time. I made many trips to my honda dealer and it seemed like these guys had a hell of a time figuring out what the problem was. Finally they told me that they need to replace a harness. I dont know what kind of harness because the guy who told me didnt know either. After all they replaced it free of charge cuz the car is still under warranty. It seems like the SRS light is a common problem.
