Default Buying a Prelude

This is my first post and we're gonna pick up a 97' Prelude soon with 77k, are there any common problems that hit around this mileage or soon after? I'll be driving it for a few months before my brother takes it to college. It'll be sitting in the garage with an 02' M3, 02' Accord and a 96' Jimmy and soon an E30 BMW. If there's any thing else I should know about the car, plz feel free to let me know.

its a honda...i've heard that with basic maintainence and upkeep that some people have had them last till 500,000 miles. i personally own a 93 with currently 208,000 miles and havent had a single engine problem except replacing the head gasket and a seal(normal wear and tear). i replaced the cv joints and rack and pinion at 208,000 miles. i think you would be fine.

Honda's CAN last a long time. If you drive it hard, and half-*** the required maintance then sure it's not gonna last long. Drive it nice and spend the money and time for the maitance and you'll love your car.

A lot of people don't know this, but car breakdowns are actually contagious. An unreliable vehicle actually can pass on its illness to other vehicles. If you do get the Prelude, I would definitely keep it as far away from the GMC and BMWs as possible. I just hope it's not to late for that Accord. Get the Accord out of that garage and into quarantine immediately, and keep it under observation to make sure it hasn't contracted any ailments yet.
