Default lighter weight=direct hp??

ok here's an example.....say the h22 on the stock prelude gonna be hitting 15's....now put this same h22 in a crx and u hit 13's all day....i know this same engine carries the same hp in both cars but this crx hybrid is much faster due to lightweight. does the lightweight contribute to a higher hp rating on the dyno or is it stlll going to put out the same hp to the wheels when tested...

HP of an engine does not relate to the vehicles weight.

What he said. If you haven't seen a dyno before, the car gets strapped down and the car's weight does not play a role in the spinning of the rollers.

hp will remain the same... afterall... on the dyno u are not pulling the car anywhere... as far as i am concerned... u can have the motor on a stand connected to some axles and ud get the same hp (hypothetically speaking)
