Default wheelie bars

Anyone know where to get them that may be pre-fabbed for integras?

If you or a competant welder around are up to the challenge than give http://www.Jerrybickel.com a try for thier universal kit. Other than that the http://www.Kenskustomchassis.com kit is actually pretty complete and cheap for everything it comes with. The wheelie bars complete with rod ends, wheeliez orange wheels (one of the best wheel companies,) extra tubing to fab the mount to the chassis. Ill try to get a pic up as soon as my ar is alittle more complete. hehe when ever that happens.-pdang

2hours of labor.....id love to see you do this...the guy has way over 2 hours of labor into the bars..they are chromoly, tig welded and adjustabel..the top tube spins to raise or lower the bars. and the bars that attach the upper to lower tubes are adjustable as well to get any slack out of the bars. you cant forget how much rodends, quick pins, brakets, wheels, etc cost. cut tubes to get a perfect fit, plus to get them all setup completly straight and welded, and keep them straight after they are welded....it takes time

Good reply. There is NO WAY someone could make a decent set of wheelie bars in 2 hours. There is more than that in just measurig and cutting the tubing.

See I am going to go with a simpilar lighter set-up. Only needs 3 main bars, with a cross brace between them and a single wheel. similar to the Pro funny cars.

I don't think you would even need wheelie bars. Cars go 10s all day without them.
What suspension setup are you running? Do you have any form of traction bars up front?

Trust me thats a deal on Daves setup. Go ahead and ask tony1 how much he would charge to make a set like that especially in 2 hours? the kits you see on art and jegs are designed for domestics. They USED to work when the sport first started using them, but now 65" being the norm the only company that has steped up to the bat is kenskustomchassis.com so until someone else comes out with something its either kens kit or custom like daves, which is a great setup.-pdang

Like I said , it's not that hard to measure a few straight bars and tig it together .
There is no brain to that. The setup is so simple yet so much . You act like we're charging for frame work here .

you'd be surprised how hard it is. if it's so simple, then fab one yourself, and see how it turns out in comparison to the one shown.

Only reason why I was going to do one was because my suspension is still squishy yet and I wanted to try and help keep the fronts from spinning. I will see after this weekend because we are going to a better track.

Tyler another thing to try...

Coil the *** of the car all the way up and stiffen up your struts if you can.
What do you run for air pressure? 2nd gear burnouts? How do you launch?

i don't think raising the rear of your car will help, especially with soft suspension. you want to minimize rearward weight transfer

On the drag racing forum , there is a topic name .
what to do with the rear end , you need to go read that , cause you don't know what your talking about !!!!

RAISE THE REAR END !!!!!!!!!!

People we're not talking about chassis work here , WHEELIE BAR and COST was the subject stick to it or move on . I know it does not cause that much to make one and people are charging two arms and three lags here .
Keep looking , that's all I can tell you .

I think from that I am understanding raising the rear suspension helps increase tension in the rear springs thus making them harder to compress due to the launching.

as far as i know with all of the coilovers i have ever used that is not true.. they dont get stiffer when you raise it up
