Default Comparing Prices on 03' and 04' bikes

Im getting a 03' F4i really really soon but I know that the 04's are coming out soon. Im thinking around late October or early november. Correct me if im wrong. Now as soon as they come out how much could the price drop on this bike. It is being sold for 8,199 here in az and probably everywhere else. How much of a differnece could this make on it. Because the day the 04's come out im picking up a new 03' and hoping the price could drop some so they can get rid of them. Thanks

considering the 04 F4i isn't changed from the 03 model, i wouldn't expect to see a huge price difference or any if at all.

The new one has a 1 piece seat, thats the only difference I know about so far. It looks more comfortable but doesnt look as cool.

You can find a million f4i's with under 3k miles for $5 even. Dime a dozen by honda standards.

i agree, go for a barely used one, i did and got a steal. $6k out the door for an '02 with 1500 miles. honestly even honda admits there is no significant change in those years.

Everywhere else? It's selling for 7800 OTD (out the door after tax, title, registration) around my area.

I'm waiting to get mine early next year. :D

Good luck man. Take the savings and get gear...

$7800 OTD in Socal? Where at? I just purchased a new '03 F4i from LA cyclesport for $7995 OTD and that was the best price I could find. Now, with the CA registration increase, you're looking at $8100.

BTW, LA cyclesport

I also went to LA CycleSports, and they said 7800 OTD. Now I'm just waiting till after the holidays to pick one up.

Ryan i gotta hear why you dont like this bike or why i shouldnt get it. i know plenty of people that will agree that the F4i is one of the best 600 bikes to learn on and will never outgrow. other than maybe the rr but insurance is a little much for me on it

Go to a dealer willing to work with you if you want to finance through the dealer... I bought my 99 F4 used for 5600 with 1200 miles on it, traded it in 400 miles later for 6200 worth of credit on the 01 F4i they sold me for like $7400 out the door, I also bought my pipe and windscreen through them at cost. The best thing to do is buy used honestly, let someone else take the $1k+ initial deprec hit.
