DA Mounts. 90-91 ~ 92-93. Difference???
My friend totalled his 93 LS. Went and got a '90 shell for $200 and swapped the '93 motor with all the components into the '90 shell. Last week he broke the driver side mount (by the cam gears) and an axle. Now he bought a '90 LS replacement mount and the motor sits crooked. We believe that this is why he broke the other mount in the first place.
Is he using the correct mounts???
TIA

so what should my friend do to correctly mount his motor.
Currently using 93 mounts all around and broke the driver side one. Ordered a 90 driver side mount but still sits crooked.

If you are using a 90 shell, you need to use a 90-91 driver's side motor mount bracket. The 2 are completely different.
