Default kinda OT: HID Scam

I just wanted the fellow R owners that I found another HID scam on the internet.

This company in question is selling two types of HID kits. "Stage 1" kit is your standard HID kit. Looks like a Philips kit to me. Then the company states that it has a "stage 2" kit which is even brighter and more purple then the stage 1 kit. Here's a direct quote from the site: "Stage I vs. Stage II: The major difference is in found in the bulbs. Stage 2 bulbs run at 6000k and are composed of a gas mixture that emits a very purplish hue, Versus a Stage 1 kit, which run at 4300k, and emit a very white light. The stage 2 system is the same exact system found on the European Le man Race cars. This system eclipses any other automotive lighting system on the market today. Nothing can even match the light output."

Me being the HID nut, decides to check this out further. This is what I found:
Here's a chart of how they show the headlight compairson:

Sounds real huh! (yeah right).

Here's chart that I found from the Bellof site:

SAME CHART!!!! hmmm so this companny I found is claiming that their stage 2 kit is sunlight! ahhahahaha The company that I question is called hid4less.com
Beware, I would hate for one of us to get stuck with a envelope that says, just use sunlight for a mere $600!!!!

That sounds about as smart as solar powered flshlights.
I like the HID kit (phillips) in my typeR. It made a world of difference.

actually the 6000K doesn't refer to the actual temperature, but probally more the coloring. Some monitors allow you to vary the range from 4300k all the way up to 9300k, and the result is a change from a very warm image to a very cool (not as that's cool) one.

Good work! Especially with all the HID craziness that we are having lately, it's good to know all the possible scams out there.
