Nobody else has any info on this????? I will call darton but we are not setup with them. does it matter???? Also I believe the sleeves were not installed by darton but by a machine shop in Ohio somewhere. The sleeves sunk before 99Blueturbo even got his car back on the road. dont quote me on that though<<<<.
If they only sunk a couple of thousandths, you can have the block milled to level everything out. You need to be sure that they have settled, and it depends on what type of sleeves they are as to how they "seat". You should send it back to the machine shop that installed them, they should know what to do with it.

Send the motor back to the installer.Obviously they didn't do something right.

where are all the GE haters and darton supporters now?? Like i have always said that GE has less failure rate than darton because their sleeves are installed exclusively at GE. they sleeve more blocks then the top darton machine shops combined. Of course there will be an issue here or there when you sleeve 1000+ blocks a year.

it's getting hard to find good machine shops these days..i never had sealing, leaking, or sinking problems w/ my ge block..let's see how my darton sleeved block holds up.

I still support Darton

As stated before, the machine shop is at fault for the sleeve dropping.

Ok here is an update. I have found out that the sleeves were installed by jotech. Tony1 or Javier were the one who were being dealt with at the time of the initial build. Like 99blue turbo said the sleeves sunk when the motor had about 1200 miles on it. Do you think they would fix this??? the reason I am asking is I might buy the block if it is possible to be fixed. But if it is going to cost the same as sleeving a non sleeved block from the get go then **** it. I have a greddy turbo kit for my 99Si and I know that that turbo doesnt need a sleeved block but I also wanted to have the ability to upgrade to a 75 DP setup along with the turbo and a sleeved block would make more sence. if I am forced to do a stock block then I will never use the N20 and the turbo. BTW the block was done about 1.5 years ago. what do you all think??????? thnak you so much for all the advice!!!
why dont you call darton and see what you get. They are going to blame the machine shop and the machine shop is going to blame darton.
How can the machine shop blame darton, unless all they did was send the block out to darton in the first place? Check out how far they sunk and like tempest said, get a machine shop to skim the top of the block until its level.

JoTech buys their blocks from both RS and GE, so I'm sure they had nothing to do with installing the sleeves in that block.
not all machine shops are equal.
if one doesnt have much experience with honda motors. DONT GO THERE.
plain and simple.
im not saying this was the case in this situation . Im talking in general to anyone who is going to get dartons installed somewhere

I could have sworn they went to Car Quest for machine work.
