Default I fixed my TRANNY!!!....details inside!!!

It took 4 days and a steep learning curve but me and 4 of my friends performed our first tranny swap on my D16Z6 EG Dx....and it works. The previous tranny had destroyed shifter forks (I think). For future first timers make POSITIVE ALL of the bolts are off the tranny and don't force it on and take off ALL sensors that might get in your way...I broke the VTEC switch and thermostat sensor housing (fixed it with super glue..as well as my map sensor...my car is so ghetto ). Just thought I would bling out some knowledge for those less fortunate.

Good job! I broke the VTEC oil pressure too as well when I did my tranny, I've broken it twice (its a $45 part.... ) Glad you got it done!

Well...I guess I am not the only one to break ****.....awesome feeling...I just took a ride around the block and the clutch feels a little soft but we bled it right...I might do it again. I would think that an archived "Tranny swap" technical post would really come in handy for newbs in the tranny area of expertise.
