I am in the process of attempting to replace my DC header and I can get the JDM one, however the collector is the wrong size.

My questions are:

1. is the length of the cat / test pipe the same as factory?
2. Does it utilize the same type of flange just a 2.5 inch diameter?
3. does anyone know of a place that sells a testpipe that will fit.
4. is the .5 inch difference worth the trouble of replacing my test pipe?

any other advice would be greatly appreciated. I need to have the required parts ready when the header arrives so i can send the part back after i pull it off.

if you cant answer all the questions feel free to answer 1 or provide any advice. Some one has to have done this before.

 

1) the jdm header is longer so you will need a shorter cat
2) different size flange I believe
3) smsp can make you a testpipe
4)yes
