time to build the head help me decide on the best cams please
ok over this winter im gonna be building my head for daily use and probally a few track events and maybe a drag race or two at the local strip. the motor is a b16a ive decided i want to go with skunk 2 products i allready have skunk 2 retainers, jun cam gears, spoon headgasket, skunk 2 valve springs, skunk 2 valves, oem valve cover gasket, spoon ventuli plate, power enterprise timing belt, oem exhaust manifold gasket, and a whole box of new replacement gaskets for the whole head(none of this stuff is on the head yet because i cant decide what cams to use stage 1's or 2's...alot of people tell me to get the 1's because i dont have any block work done and i wont be using the full potential of the 2's...but a few of my friends have the 2's in thier cars and all they have are built heads and thier cars seem to make a good amount of power for daily driving..so my question i guess is this...should i get the 1's and use those until i build the block next winter then get the 2's? or should i get the 2's now and tune them the best i can with what i have?
also what is a good intake manifold and throttle body for my setup? i was thinking the spoon itr t/b(might be to big) and the skunk 2 i/m. is there anything im missing that i might need to make everything work better together?
thanks
i might sound like a newb to this because i am ive never built any motors so i want to make sure my setup is safe and reliable

i think he meant oem exhaust manifold gasket
get stage 1's. my friend with a jdm itr bottom end, with smsp header, hondata and a reworked head, only lost 2-3whp up top from going stage 2's => stage 1's
most people always think if they get a big *** cam, it will provide the most power. life would be easier if al it took was a 14mm lift cam and huge duration.
stage 1's all the way
why get the skunk2 IM, get the itr IM or aebs for half the money

i did say i have the oem exhaust manifold gasket..i have the jdm dc sports 2.5 4-1 header..i was just listing what i have ready to go on the head so you guys know what i have and maybe you could recommend somthing diffrent (just trying to get everyone on the same page as me
so u think 1's would be the best bet over 2's?

Talk to a good engine builder who has experience with those cams.
for all I know, you might just end up getting the stage 2's because you think it will make more power compared to the stage 1's.
remember, my friend with another $4k+ into his setup only lost minimal power.
