Default 92 legend motor to 95 type II swap?!?

Just a curious question, I know I would be better off getting the aftermarket ECC for my car but, I just recently had a motor swap from a 92 legend motor to the 95 type II motor (only cost me 650) would I feel any performance differance if I swap my old 92 ECU with a 95? I'm just asking cuz I could get one for 100 if I can feel the differance instead of forking over ( think its about 350 or 450) for the aftermaket one down side of that is that I have to drive to cali for the ECU.

it kind of depends on if you have an automatic or a manual. the thing with the type 2 manuals is that they have a linear solonoid that slides into the reverse gear when you are going more then 10 mph, so you cant accidentally go from 5th to reverse, instead of 5th to 6th. the type 1 ecu does not have this option, but the type 2 ecu does have it. if you have an automatic, they are the same as far as shifting, but you could tell a difference because of different mapping and whatnot. if you could get the type 2 ecu with a bayou stage 2 chip, then you would be really well off....but if not, then the normal type 2 ecu possibly could make the difference
