Default Question on vibration..

My B20 vibrates like no other in my car. Everything is bolted down correctly, but I am sure it is due to the mounts. Can a problem arise from too much vibration, or haveing the motor too secure?

No problems just an inconvenience, what mounts are you using?

Oh no wonder, that's why you get the killer vibration!

Yeah, it vibrated pretty good without it.

Myself, I dont mind it. I just was wondering if there was a risk of damage.

Causes CDs to skip. In the long run it will damage the laser in the CD player..watch out sometime it will cause shoe strinks to untie.. =0

if you haven't done a tune up to the engine in a long time, now might be a good time to do so and make sure everything is running right....I have a B18 in my hatch with HCP urethane mounts and my car hardly vibrates at all. My friend with the AZ mounts in her CRX, her B18 vibrates like hell and I've had to re-tightend ground straps and various brackets under the hood several times now, just something to keep an eye on.

I think the obvious answer is with every B-series mount I have ever seen they are polyurethane, which is a lot stiffer than the galvanized rubber that OEM mounts have. There isn't really much you can do about it.
