Default ? on skunk2 I.M for ls turbo

OK so I have been pondering on getting one for my ls turbo. As of right now, I will be haveing SRP pistion, eagle rods, anda Block guard for bottom end. I will also have a built head. P&P, 3 angle valve job, and crower everythign else. Im wondering if a Skunk2 I.M. will do me any use. ok by the wany its a drag 3 kit. any input would be helpful. or anything else That I might need to get would be cool. thanks in advance

People have stated that the skunk2 manifold makes good power depending on how much power you inted to have run. If you are boosting under 10psi, it might not be needed. But on a built motor running higher boost, it will help a lot. The LS manifold is pretty darn restrictive.

skunk2 I.M. works great with turbo street cars. IF you are running excesive amounts of boost id recomend the JG manifold

I liked mine. I lost a some low end/spool up and lost a lil midrange but gained a lil top end too. it made the torque more flat to redline instead of falling off like the LS did.

I don't have any hard proof, but word around the shops is that people like the Victor X better for turbo apps. Some GSR in turbo mag about a year ago gained twenty-some HP with the Victor X.

I was debating on getting one but Tony1 said at my boost level (11psi) would not help me. He said I would lose a little low end and gain maybe 5whp. I don't think it's worth it unless your running more than 15psi or so. At least to see some significant gains.
