Default first dyno today!!

just to get a baseline...


rundown..
98 civic cx hatch
99 USDM B16A2
short ram intake
JDM ITR 4-1 header
2 1/4' piping with ES muffler

155 WHP @ 7481 RPMs
109 ft/lbs @ 6923 RPMs

time for more mods!!

that is a very strong b16 motor right there. some people dont see 155 whp with Ctr cams and tunning.

Are those your only mods? Any basic tuning/fuel changes? Those numbers are about 15whp more then they should be with your setup.

You either have:

A. An extremely generous dyno.
B. An ungodly healthy and great running engine.
C. A mouth full of horse trash.

lol.....I actually forgot to mention that I have a spoon ventuli plate but I think that restricts the peak horsepower a tad

I think the motor is just a really strong motor.... I have video of the dyno but I dont know how to post it...I have the plot but I have to scan it...pics will be up later

Well, the 155 was with the miracle dyno intake, I believe it dyno'd 150 with the short ram.

And second, it was my Dynapack folks, which reads about 10 hp higher than your typical Dynojet thanks to the removal of wheels/tires.

numbers sound right.

On C_A_T's dyno (btw, thanks Shawn) I did 185whp 130tq on a:

B18C1
ITR Cams
IB JG Header
Skunk IM
2.5'' Exhaust
Short Ram Intake
Hondata

we pulled a b16a on C_A_T pack dyno with 184whp. and 120tq..
later we put it on a jet and did the same......
