Default Skunk2 Valves

i already have the Skunk2 stage2 cams, with skunk2 gears, valve springs and retainers (getting put in in about a month) and i'm debating on valves. i know you have to prt and polish your head when you get valves but i dont have the funds for it. My question is, what if i get the Skunk2 valves stock size, will it help anything and do i still have to p&p?

thanks

you will gain maybe 1-2 hp if that with skunk2 valves or most other valves.

why do you think u need them?

you dont have to port and polish a head when getting valves. that has nothing to do with it.

put your money into something else. valves gain pretty much nothing unless you have a really done up head and everything else. but you are about $5k-7k shy of that point. so stick with ur stock valves
