Default Going rate for clutch install?

What did everyone pay to have there clutch installed? I'm normally a DIY'r but don't feel like tackling this one. My wife is buying me an Exedy for Christmas.

I've heard anywhere from 300-400. Just spend a day and do it yourself, its easy as pie.

Yeah front wheel drive clutch changes are pie compared to AWD suby changes. Now that what you would call a bitch and every penny worth it to take it to a shop, but since my friends a cheap ***** Ive done two clutch changes on his impreza and a tranny removal and instal on a rx7. I was able to do my first FWD clutch change in about 4 hours with regular hand tools and a chiltons.

average cost for labor is all day, and food, beer and more beer. that is, if you can round up some H-T members to teach you how to. and if you don't mind learning and getting dirty.

Charge $200 labor for civic/integra. Located about an hour and a half from you.

Do it yourself...We dove into mine in the parking lot of my apt!!!

Only thing we had was directions from c-speed, and the helms of course.

Do it your self i did my first one in like 4 hours And i was set back by wrong parts. And you will prolly not need directions if you have worked on cars before it is really simple. And straight forward.

Don't forget the rear main seal if your tranny is out!

Anything more then 250 for labor is out of the question. Id put it in for 24 pack of corona, a couple limes, 3 double doubles from in and out, and dinner that night. A 20 dollar tip would be sweet.
