Will these all bolt up together? (exhaust Q)
heres my question..
Car : 00 GSR
Header : JDM 4-1 2.5" collector
Cat : Carsound (buying used off of H-t. username 387
Exhaust : JDM DC2-R catback (2.36" piping)
i havent bought any of the parts yet, becuase i want to know if they will bolt up. i know the car will bolt to the header, but i dont know if the exhaust will be long enough or too long. ive read that the JDM exhaust is 6" longer than the US Type R/99-01 GSR exhaust.
will i have to modify the exhaust length? any input is very much appreciated. thanks

without measuring the cat, its way too hard to tell. the cat isnt even stock length
you might just have to test fit it, and see how it fits.

it depends on what that carsound cat was designed for. I put a jdm 4-1 type r header and a carsound cat designed for a type R with a 2.5" catback for a type R on my 98 GSR and it all fit perfectly.
