ANR HEADER?
I ordered a compact AN-R header, in mild steel for my '89 CRX. It should arrive soon, and it will get installed by the end of the yr. The standard header won't fit since I have a full size fluidyne. Unfortunately, I won't be able to get any meaningful dyno figures since I'm putting in a LS/VTEC motor w/ other junk in at the same time.
Now here's the real question - how does the AN-R header compare to the Bisimoto D-series header?
Mahahahha.... errr...
The only difference that I know of is that the AN-R does NOT clear the factor A/C, while the Bisi does.
AN-R
Bisimoto
(both are D-series, street version pics)
Bisimoto = $589.00 w/out coating
AN-R = $480 w/out coating
The Bisi header has some nice dyno charts to back up their claims. I'm leaning towards the Bisimoto myself, but the price tag is beating me down...
You can look up the Bisimoto @ exospeed.com for the B-series version pics & info. But I like to jack your thread with my D-series love. Mahahahahah!

the differrence between the 2 headers are the MErge Collectors.
Bisimoto design uses a true merge collector type.
If you are familiar with the Burns brand, they are used in NASCAR, IRL, CART, NHRA, pretty much all the top racing engines in motorsports. THey are not cheap.. priced from $125-200 on the basic merge collectors. Thats why Hytech, Bisimoto, SMSP, and the top header designers use this style... for optimum performance.
from the Burns Stainless website:
"Burns Stainless Merge Collectors combine high flow and high velocity to increase and broaden an engine's torque curve all the way to the horsepower peak and beyond." "They make the the most horsepower, maintain the highest and smoothest torque curve"
