Motor mount bolt
I was changing my passenger side motor mount today and the bolt that goes into the tranny housing was stuck!! I finally got it out with an impact gun and the bolt was all corroded. When I put the new mount in and went to put the bolt back in it was just spinning. How important is that one bolt? Are the two studs coming out of the housing with the nuts enough o hold it? Or do I have to try and re thread it and get that bolt in there??

Does anyone here have a serious answer? What is with all the sarcasm on this board lately?

yes its important. i had a similar experience... one of the bolts on the lower passenger side tranny mount of my car stripped the thread out. cause im a tard, i figured, **** it - i still got 2 bolts holding it on, who needs the third one. well, i drove around for a couple months like that, and now my rear mount, and the one you replaced are bad
, now my motor shakes pretty bad when shifting.
although your scenario is different, id say YES its very important. get a heli coil kit and fix it.

Yeah get it fixed becuase it'll start putting more stress on that mount as time goes by and eventually it'll wear down your other mounts because they have to compensate for the missing support.
