Default jdm d15b sohc vtec is in.

well finally after five days of hard work its in.. my jdm d15b vtec motor. but it has a cx tranny, cx ecu imma get a p08 ecu soon hopefully will it run well? well imma turbo it very soon.. oh and i broke my speed sensor does anyone have one for sale for cheap how much do these things go for? what sucks is that my friends and brother played a joke on me and painted the valve cover, oil pan, t/b orange.. haha those asses..well if there are any helpful information to make this thing fast plz do tell greddy sohc turbo kit goin on soon. for fuel manangement maybe a greddy blue box with fuel pump. cuz i already have a fuel pump in my car. well there's my lil swap story.. thanks for listening bye.

i got it for $300.. its was only the long block with no alternator and misc. tubes.. was that too much? and its an automatic motor too.. but i did put a a.c.t clutch in so that will help a lil bit oh yeah the jdm clock is still for sale.. let me find it and ill pm u back any more info guyz?

VSS = $20, you need just the sensor head or whole assembly?

Will the Greddy SOHC turbo fit nicely on the D15B? I'm thinking about doing that, but i was worried that the turbo wouldn't fit as good as it would on a z6

nice swap...yeah that tranny i holding you back hardcore...I was on the same boat with my ZC.....dx ecu and vx tranny, I got an ex tranny and chipped dx ecu to pm7 specs and it changed the car..

that link is a dx mtoor...won't help him out I think...

damn its sooo slow.. lol.. especially with a cx ecu.. can wait till i wire up vtec and get my p08 ecu.. imma fix the vss.. i broke the bracket by tightening it to much imma j-b weld it.. wish me luck..

GOOD LUCK BRO!! I broke mine too thank god I had a spare one laying around in my shed.......saved the day........that might be my set up once my dohc zc blows which might be soon "knock on wood"

i too broke my vss.. but it stays in there.. so i don't think you HAVE to fix it.. but just in case.

I got a 92 Si tranny for sale. $150+shipping. No girnds

I'd emagine tranny fluid would flyout through tthe VSS hole.....I'd fix it..

Hmmn, shoudl have gone for the tranny too, similar ratios to the Si and runs a lot better with them.

Sweet motor when its running, mines a lot better then my SI (well ESi), and it responds well to modding, good header does wonders for the midrange, and there is room for increasing the compression too, which is where i am going next

Mines not a swap though, still in the EG4 where it should be

lol my brother was bout to paint it hot pink but they didnt have the color and bout the tranny ill let u know..im kinda short on funds right now.. thanks for all the help guyz.. and bout compression. imma turbo my this sat when i have time soo id like to get compression lower lol.. but dammmmmnn its so slow.. i want my p08 already and vtec needs to be wired up...
