would it work to h22a swap in a del sol, too heavy, out of b16a, b18c, and h22a, what should i swap in my del sol. h22a is the best price, with the best power, but would it be too heavy for the sol?

 

if i get an h22a, i know it'd be harder to swap. will i stil have room to do other ****, like intake header exhaust?

 

I know that the B16 and B18 are direct swaps, you dont need new motor mounts. I have personally never seen the del with the H22 motor in it so im not to sure, but i would go with the B18, more parts are advailible and i hear it's easier to work on over the H22. If your drag racing, the H22 is idea for the power reasons. Since the del sol weights in at a hefty 2300lbs, weight is already an issue and ur going to be heavy. Build up the suspension compatible with ur idea for the car ie street, strip, or circuit.

 

Not to a be an ***, but do a search man. There have been several threads on this in the past month alone. Many more in archives. It has been done, it not TOO difficult, and the handling does NOT have to be ruined if you do it right.
