where do i find the ecu on a 97 civic dx?

Default where do i find the ecu on a 97 civic dx?

where exactly is the ecu on my car and how do i reset it?

ecu is under the kickplate on the passenger side...to reset it, you can just unplug your negative battery cable for 15min

Actually it only takes like 15 seconds. Oh,and there is an easier way. You will need a needle nose wrench.

Just open the fuse box in your engine bay by the battery. Along the top row will be a radio fuse. Just pull that for 15 seconds and put it back in. You will then have a reset ECU.
