HELP: Problems Tech edge 1.5 , the red light doesnt come on. My value are inside.

Default HELP: Problems Tech edge 1.5 , the red light doesnt come on. My value are inside.

pin 1 red wire has 5.9 volts
pin 2 black wire has 3.9 volts
pin 3 White wire has 0.05 volts
pin 6 yellow wire has 12.3 volts
pin 7 orange wire has 12.3 volts

I tested them at the board and at the sensor, connected and not connected to the sensor. just to check for shorts.

Please help

bump, those values are from con 1, my multimeter reads 2.495 volts from the display's vout.

what gauge wire are you using for the two heater wires to the sensor? if these two wires arent thick enough, they will create resistance thus reducing the power to the heater element, and in the end the heater will never get warm enough and the red LED will never come on.

bingo good possibilty. I using shitty little wires. I'll try that tomorrow.

i think most people recommend 14 gauge wire for this application if that helps. remember the longer the wires the thicker they need to be, and since it has to go from the cabin all the way to the engine bay, it can get long.
