Well I had ordered a replacement transmission from some company in texas and got screwed out the ***. Had a 3 month warranty but i didn't get a chance to install the thing till about 2 weeks ago, which is 1 month past the warranty. After installing it we come to find out it is completely trashed it slips very bad into all the gears. I took it to a friend at a tranny shop and he told me it was trash and to order one from somewhere else, but i said **** it we are going to just go ahead and do a 5-speed conversion. Well the last 4 days the car would not go higher than 2nd gear so we just decided to trash it even more by doing a few neutral drops and other fun ****. Then today we went for a drive in it beat the crap out of it some more and all of a sudden 3rd and 4th gear started working again. Anyone ever have a POS auto do this before? I find it rather amusing that i gained all my gears back after beating the living crap out of it. just thought i would share this strange phenomenon.

 

my first 2 trannys would not come out of 2nd gear unless oyu turned the car off when decelarating.
