We are making the schedule for our trip to the west coast. We will be arriving in SoCal on Dec 2. I need to know if who is interested in getting some tuning done in the area. We can go to San Diego first if there is at least 2-3 cars to tune. If you or someone you know, needs tuning, we need to know. If you have a hook up on dynotime let me know.

For the rest of CA, OR and WA: Start posting and letting me know how many people you have and if you have a dyno available. I dont mind street tuning for driveability. but if you have a 450whp monster, well I dont trust your driving to watch my laptop. .

So let me know what you guys think.. Also I dont want to step on anyone's toes. If there is a reputable shop available that can tune your car.. BY ALL MEANS USE THEM. I would much rather make new friends than **** someone off.

Basically I would like to spends a few days in each location and get the cars fully tuned. So keep that in mind if you can organize something.

The systems I feel fully comfortable tuning are, AEM, Haltech, Hondata, DFI 6, electromotive. I will only be bringing laptops with Hondata, DFI,and Haltech. So make sure you have the software and cables for your system. We wont have time to make major changes to the car itself. make sure you have your fuel system done, IGN system, everything ready.

you should definatly come to nor cal. My friend and I both need our turbo cars tuned. And i'm sure i can gather up a few more cars by then

That was my GFs car. She sold the setup. She is working on bigger and better things.

 

So no Zdyne tuning available?

I am in bay area, in need of haltech tuning.

 

ZDyne is fine. I have a CRX right now making 360whp on ZDyne. Try to find a couple of people near you and organize a little meet and possibly a dyno facility to use.

So far its looking like dec 10th. give or take a few days.. depends on socal guys.

you can visit san francisco/ san jose

 

Try to get a few guys together and a set a dyno day.. I can tune 2-3 cars in a day.

200 bucks flat... do you know of any dyno places we could use in the bay?

 

there's DSR, and they cost like 180/hr with wideband. There's also ATP and I think it is 150/hr with wideband.

 

ok, being that i am new to the turbo scene and all...

how does this dyno n tuning work? so i pay 200 to have it tuned, and 180/hr at dsr to have it dynoed?

is that how it works? whats the the difference when DSR does it vs spoon?

is there a price difference? or is it because one is better then the other?

 

I will have to talk to a few friends, mine is fine, however I would like to maybe setup the two step, and speed dependent boost, that is if my car isn't down for tranny reinforcement in December!

Going to stop by Colorado?? Also do you tune additional injector setups? Only thing that is really available for 2001+ Civics, so I had to get it...
