Default what block to use

A year ago i put a real sohc zc in me honda crx. About a week ago it the crank bork and pushed a hole in the block. The head is ok so im just going throw another block on it. The question is would you put a D16a6, D16a1 out of an old teg, or some other block that i don't know about. Thanx a lot.

D16A1 won't work
D16A6 is your best bet.

my bet would definitely be on the A6........ the A1 block is for a dual cam head........ you cant swap heads from a dual cam to a single cam block........
