makig my exhaust louder
a coupl of weeks ago removed half the insulation in my buddies titanium can. I was wondering if I can do the same thing ona carbon fiber can. I wanna know if people have done this before. I already know that the can will run hotter, but thats justa given

You can equate a D&D canister as being a 24x8 piece of fiberglass wrapped single layer around a cheese grater in a skinny can. The build quality is ok, the sound is loud as hell and very raspy. The chrome pipes are butt ugly and all over ghetto busas and the like. I have a D&D carbon race can and pipes on my 500 b/c frankly its pretty much the only application for the bike. The slipons are comparatively cheap. I wouldn't put one on a nice bike by choice though.
