i gotta 99 gsr and i am having trouble adjusting the clutch pedal. i dunno which way to turn the lock nut behind the pedal and the main problem is that the push rod turns with it. is there anyway to hold the push rod tight enuff so it wont move? i tried vise grips, but it doesnt seem to be doing much but strip the push rod.

also, if i wanna install an lsd, can i do it when i install my clutch? or are they on opposite ends of the transmission?

I'm sure this will sound harsher than intended, but seriously if you're having trouble adjusting a clutch pedal...leave the LSD to someone else. If you're determined to do it yourself then here are some instructions.

thanks. i do not intend on installing the LSD myself. i do not have the tools and the skills to do it, plus the money to replace my transmission if i screw up. however, i really do want to adjust my clutch pedal height. does anyone know of a way to do this?

 

Someone please come up with that link to the video that walks you through installing and shimming the LSD.
