well saturday was my last day of msf basic rider course. i passed with 10 out of 21 points. not too bad. it was the 2 u-turns that killed me. during practice i pulled em off perfectly...come test time i put my foot down once and touched the line.
i can honestly say that i learned alot from the course. anyone interested in riding should take this course. not only do you learn something, but you also get a discount on isurance rates. and for anyone thinking its boring, get over it. no one is that good a rider that they cant learn something from this.
have fun and stay safe.

congrats...

ya congrats, i would definetely recommend it to anyone on 2 wheels...
when i took mine, in practice i always messed up on the dang u turn/ figure 8, then test i nailed it and thought i was gonna get a perfect score, then that sucker sed i went to slow through the turn... i think it was like some 45* turn.... i was sooomad... but oh well. i got like 95%... any way... just had to vent... hahaha
good job.

the class has been $150 for a while... but my frend is trying to take it and he says they are trying to charge him $180. this is in dallas, tx.
so i dunno.. maybe the fee went up.
and if ur in the HONDA RIDERS CLUB. when u take the class, Honda will reemburse u for 50 % of the class. or $75.00.

wow! it's $25 here in Ohio. I took it on the only 3 HOT days of summer we had. I got some mad *** sunburn. All worth it though, even though my insurance company doesn't give a discount for it. Progressive sucks. Maybe after my 21st bday I'll start looking at other companies....Congrats man.

Bastards.. I paid 195 in az and thats with the student discount and im under 21. But ya , awsome course. Learn something new everyday and this course did that.
I payed $85 here in NH. It seems like the prices really vary state to state all though the course itself is the same... I took it this past summer and my instructor told me that they just created a new format that they have been running for the first time this season. For the test we had to do a figure 8 (two U-turns) swerve to the right to avoid some cones. A quick stop, and then make two sweeping right turns followed by a stop. We did this all in a harsh downpour. I thought the course was rather easy, although the days were long, it was fun though, and worth it
