What is the widest I can go on Accord 6th gen (1999 4drs). I have a set of 225-45-17 and also 235-45-17 but I was wondering if the 235 will fit without rubbing. The reason why it's because the 235 set is still in better condition. The car has Apex coilover so the drop is about 3 inch.

 

youre gonna rub with 235's..im on 225's all around and the fronts are barely makin it..im thinkin of going 215's for the front instead

 

the offset of your rims will determine if it will rub. if your rims are 7in. wide and the offset is around +48 the 235's should be fine with no rubbing.

 

I have 225X40X18 and it fits perfect. I had to role the back but that's no biggie. Huge offset, I can't remember what it was. Volk GT-P's if that helps any.

 

So we can run 235/18s with the corect offset. SWEET. Now I know what size I will be putting on mine, just need to check the offset.
